New YA display to celebrate yesterday’s DOMA decision. We carry much more books with gay characters, but they’re all checked out (yay!). I’m excited to have the display in the front of the library for everyone to see (though I didn’t label it, in case teens want the books, and don’t want to draw attention to their choices).
Books: “As You Wish” by Jackson Pierce, “Between You & Me” by Marisa Calin, “Openly Straight” by Bill Konigsberg, “The Miseducation of Cameron Post” by Emily Danforth, “Shine” by Lauren Myracle, “Dramarama” by E. Lokhart, “The Realm of Possibility” by David Levithan,” “A Love Story Starring My Dead Best Friend,” by Emily Horner, “Ash” by Malinda Lo, “Tessa Masterson Will Go To the Prom,” by Emily Franklin and Brendan Halpin, “Sister Mischief” by Laura Goode, “The Wrap-Up List” by Steven Arntson, and “See You At Harry’s,” by Jo Knowles.
